Layered Watercolor Collages of Forests & Landscapes
Create textured watercolor collages inspired by Laura Ricks’ exhibit Felted Forests: Rock Walls, Waterfalls and Woodland Wonders. Students are encouraged to bring in old watercolor paintings that will be used to create hills or mountains, distance views, and trees or forests. Explore your imagination as you decide on a color palette, composition, and various-sized shapes overlapping. All materials are provided.
