Kids Class | Frida Kahlo Week: Watercolor Self-Portrait with Tissue Paper Flower Crown
Celebrate the esteemed Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, her art, and her life with a week of inspired youth classes. Take one or take them all!
Your young artists will learn how to make a self-portrait by looking in the mirror and will create a watercolor self-portrait with a tissue paper flower crown. Kids are welcome to experiment with their portrait style and imitate their favorite artist(s). Final size: 9x12 inches. Student(s) who participated in the July 10th or July 11th class should bring the watercolor kit they were provided/given in class. Cost includes materials and use of all tools required to complete the project.
