Kids Class | Frida Kahlo Week: Multimedia Portrait
Celebrate the esteemed Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, her art, and her life with a week of inspired youth classes. Take one or take them all!
Your young artists will learn how to make a self-portrait by looking in the mirror and will create a multimedia portrait using nature. The finished project will include a wood base with a popsicle frame and a portrait using watercolor, markers, and other mixed media. Final size: approximately 5x7 inches. Student(s) who participated in the July 10th class should bring the watercolor kit they were provided/given in class. Cost includes materials and use of all tools required to complete the project.
