Fall Break Kids Camp Activities | Tuesday, October 22nd
At our Fall Break Kids Camp, each day features a range of focused art workshops that cater to diverse interests. Parents can mix and match workshops to suit their children's passions and schedules, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience. All supplies and materials are provided. Recommended for youth 5 years old and older.
10 AM - 11:30 AM | Halloween Watercolor: Full Moon
This session invites kids to experiment with watercolor techniques while creating their own full moon-themed masterpieces, perfect for capturing the essence of Halloween. Kids will learn how to blend colors, create textures, and add spooky or festive touches to their artwork.
12 PM - 1:30 PM | Mini Canvas: Paint What You Want!
In this workshop, you'll create abstract pieces similar to the current exhibiting artist Hoijin Jung. Students will get 2 magnetic canvases and acrylic paint, the first canvas we will make an abstract piece using 2-3 colors! On the second one, the students will create fantastical abstract paintings, drawing inspiration from our most recent exhibition and imitating the dreamlike qualities from dreams. If students are undecided they can select a random paint palette and paint based on the color aesthetic.
