Intro to Handbuilding
Whether you're a first-time potter or a seasoned artist looking to enhance your skills, this class has something to offer everyone. Throughout the course, students will start by learning about the characteristics of clay, its properties, and how to prepare it for hand-building, be introduced to various hand-building techniques, and will have the opportunity to explore different tools and molds.
Our pottery class emphasizes creativity and individual expression. While there will be specific projects and techniques to learn, you will also have the freedom to explore your ideas and design unique clay pieces.
Enrollment allows you to attend open studio (no instruction) on Sundays 11 AM - 3:30 PM. The cost includes all materials and tools needed for 6 classes.
