“Our choices are not simply black or white or right or wrong. To make an educated decision one needs to explore the gray area between black and white or at least try to understand both sides. Through paintings of black and white and mixed media, I explore the gray areas of current controversies on gun control, climate change, Roe V. Wade, racism, freedom of speech, and politics. I hope to find the truth somewhere in the middle, between black and white.”
